Practise the Benoni Defense

The Benoni Defense (1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 c5) is the most common way to reach the Benoni family of openings. Play Black's moves of the line from memory — 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 c5 — and the trainer plays White's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.

"Drill all" adds the 48 named lines that continue it, such as Benko Gambit, Benko Gambit Accepted, Benoni Defense: Modern Variation, Benoni Defense: King's Pawn Line, Benoni Defense: Hromádka System, Benko Gambit Accepted: Fully Accepted Variation, Benko Gambit: Zaitsev System, Benoni Defense: Czech Benoni Defense.

Read about the line, its statistics on Lichess and Stockfish's evaluation on the Benoni Defense page, or pick another opening in the opening trainer.
