Practise the Dutch Defense

The Dutch Defense (1.d4 f5) is Black's most aggressive answer to 1.d4. Play Black's moves of the line from memory — 1. d4 f5 — and the trainer plays White's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.

"Drill all" adds the 68 named lines that continue it, such as Dutch Defense: Normal Variation, Dutch Defense: Queen's Knight Variation, Dutch Defense: Classical Variation, Dutch Defense: Rubinstein Variation, Dutch Defense: Raphael Variation, Dutch Defense: Staunton Gambit, Dutch Defense: Hopton Attack, Dutch Defense: Staunton Gambit Accepted.

Read about the line, its statistics on Lichess and Stockfish's evaluation on the Dutch Defense page, or pick another opening in the opening trainer.
