Practise the Dutch Defense: Stonewall Variation
The Stonewall Variation of the Dutch Defense is the set-up in which Black plays ...d5 early and secures a tight grip on the e4-square. Play Black's moves of the line from memory —
1. d4 f5 2. c4 Nf6 3. g3 e6 4. Bg2 Be7 5. Nf3 O-O 6. O-O d5 — and the trainer plays
White's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.
"Drill all" adds the 5 named lines that continue it, such as Dutch Defense: Stonewall Variation, Botvinnik Variation, Dutch Defense: Stonewall Variation, Chekhover Variation.
Read about the line, its statistics on Lichess and Stockfish's evaluation on the Dutch Defense: Stonewall Variation page, or pick another opening in the opening trainer.
