The Open System of the Tarrasch Variation is 1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.Nd2 c5, Black's way of breaking open the centre at once against 3.Nd2 in the French Defense. Play Black's moves of the line from memory — 1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. Nd2 c5 — and the trainer plays White's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.
