The Evans Gambit Declined is 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Bc5 4.b4 Bb6: instead of taking the pawn offered by the Evans Gambit, Black keeps the bishop on the a7–g1 diagonal. 4...Bb6 is the most common way to decline. Play Black's moves of the line from memory — 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Bc5 4. b4 Bb6 — and the trainer plays White's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.
