The Abbazia Defense is 1.e4 e5 2.f4 exf4 3.Nf3 d5 4.exd5 Nf6, the most common continuation of the Modern Defense to the King's Gambit. Play Black's moves of the line from memory — 1. e4 e5 2. f4 exf4 3. Nf3 d5 4. exd5 Nf6 — and the trainer plays White's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.

"Drill all" adds the 1 named line that continue it, such as King's Gambit Accepted: Abbazia Defense, Main Line.

Read about the line, its statistics on Lichess and Stockfish's evaluation on the King's Gambit Accepted: Abbazia Defense page, or pick another opening in the opening trainer.
