Practise the Nimzo-Indian Defense: Leningrad Variation

The Leningrad Variation is 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.Nc3 Bb4 4.Bg5: against the Nimzo-Indian Defense White pins the f6-knight in return. Play White's moves of the line from memory — 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 e6 3. Nc3 Bb4 4. Bg5 — and the trainer plays Black's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.

"Drill all" adds the 2 named lines that continue it, such as Nimzo-Indian Defense: Leningrad Variation, Benoni Defense, Nimzo-Indian Defense: Leningrad Variation, Averbakh Gambit.

Read about the line, its statistics on Lichess and Stockfish's evaluation on the Nimzo-Indian Defense: Leningrad Variation page, or pick another opening in the opening trainer.
