Practise the Sicilian Defense

The Sicilian Defense (1.e4 c5) is Black's most popular and most ambitious answer to 1.e4. Play Black's moves of the line from memory — 1. e4 c5 — and the trainer plays White's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.

"Drill all" adds the 299 named lines that continue it, such as Sicilian Defense: Old Sicilian, Sicilian Defense: Modern Variations, Sicilian Defense: Open, Sicilian Defense: French Variation, Sicilian Defense: Closed, Sicilian Defense: Bowdler Attack, Sicilian Defense: Modern Variations, Main Line, Sicilian Defense: Smith-Morra Gambit.

Read about the line, its statistics on Lichess and Stockfish's evaluation on the Sicilian Defense page, or pick another opening in the opening trainer.
