The Kalashnikov Variation is 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 e5 5.Nb5 d6, a close relative of the Sveshnikov Variation of the Sicilian. Play Black's moves of the line from memory — 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 e5 5. Nb5 d6 — and the trainer plays White's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.
