Practise the Sicilian Defense: Kan Variation

The Kan Variation (1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 e6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 a6) is a flexible line of the Sicilian Defense, named after Ilya Kan and also called the Paulsen Variation after Louis Paulsen. Play Black's moves of the line from memory — 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 e6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 a6 — and the trainer plays White's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.

"Drill all" adds the 12 named lines that continue it, such as Sicilian Defense: Kan Variation, Knight Variation, Sicilian Defense: Kan Variation, Maróczy Bind, Réti Variation, Sicilian Defense: Kan Variation, Wing Attack, Sicilian Defense: Kan Variation, Modern Variation, Sicilian Defense: Kan Variation, Polugaevsky Variation, Sicilian Defense: Kan Variation, Maróczy Bind, Bronstein Variation, Sicilian Defense: Kan Variation, Maróczy Bind, Hedgehog Variation, Sicilian Defense: Kan Variation, Swiss Cheese Variation.
