Practise the Slav Defense
The Slav Defense (1.d4 d5 2.c4 c6) is one of Black's most solid and respected answers to the Queen's Gambit. Play Black's moves of the line from memory —
1. d4 d5 2. c4 c6 — and the trainer plays
White's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.
"Drill all" adds the 107 named lines that continue it, such as Slav Defense: Three Knights Variation, Slav Defense: Modern Line, Semi-Slav Defense, Slav Defense: Exchange Variation, Semi-Slav Defense: Main Line, Slav Defense: Quiet Variation, Slav Defense: Quiet Variation, Schallopp Defense, Slav Defense: Two Knights Attack.
Read about the line, its statistics on Lichess and Stockfish's evaluation on the Slav Defense page, or pick another opening in the opening trainer.
