Practise the Slav Defense: Exchange Variation

The Exchange Variation of the Slav Defense (1.d4 d5 2.c4 c6 3.cxd5) releases the central tension at once. Play White's moves of the line from memory — 1. d4 d5 2. c4 c6 3. cxd5 — and the trainer plays Black's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.

"Drill all" adds the 2 named lines that continue it, such as Slav Defense: Exchange Variation, Symmetrical Line, Slav Defense: Exchange Variation, Boor Attack.

Read about the line, its statistics on Lichess and Stockfish's evaluation on the Slav Defense: Exchange Variation page, or pick another opening in the opening trainer.
