Practise the Van Geet Opening

The Van Geet Opening (1.Nc3), also called the Dunst Opening, may have more names than any other opening: Heinrichsen, Baltic, Sleipnir, Queen's Knight Attack, Millard's Opening and, in German, der Linksspringer, among others. Play White's moves of the line from memory — 1. Nc3 — and the trainer plays Black's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.

"Drill all" adds the 28 named lines that continue it, such as Van Geet Opening: Reversed Nimzowitsch, Van Geet Opening: Dunst-Perrenet Gambit, Van Geet Opening: Napoleon Attack, Van Geet Opening: Sicilian Two Knights, Van Geet Opening: Reversed Scandinavian, Van Geet Opening: Novosibirsk Variation, Van Geet Opening: Dougherty Gambit, Van Geet Opening: Tübingen Gambit.

Read about the line, its statistics on Lichess and Stockfish's evaluation on the Van Geet Opening page, or pick another opening in the opening trainer.
