Practise the Vienna Game: Anderssen Defense

The Anderssen Defense is 1.e4 e5 2.Nc3 Bc5, an offbeat but playable answer to the Vienna Game. Play Black's moves of the line from memory — 1. e4 e5 2. Nc3 Bc5 — and the trainer plays White's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.

"Drill all" adds the 2 named lines that continue it, such as Vienna Game: Giraffe Attack, Vienna Game: Hamppe-Meitner Variation.

Read about the line, its statistics on Lichess and Stockfish's evaluation on the Vienna Game: Anderssen Defense page, or pick another opening in the opening trainer.
