Practise the Benko Gambit

The Benko Gambit (1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 c5 3.d5 b5), also known as the Volga Gambit, is a positional pawn sacrifice. Play Black's moves of the line from memory — 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 c5 3. d5 b5 — and the trainer plays White's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.

"Drill all" adds the 23 named lines that continue it, such as Benko Gambit Accepted, Benko Gambit Accepted: Fully Accepted Variation, Benko Gambit: Zaitsev System, Benko Gambit Accepted: Pawn Return Variation, Benko Gambit Accepted: Modern Variation, Benko Gambit Accepted: Yugoslav, Benko Gambit Declined: Main Line, Benko Gambit Accepted: King Walk Variation.

Read about the line, its statistics on Lichess and Stockfish's evaluation on the Benko Gambit page, or pick another opening in the opening trainer.
