Practise the Caro-Kann Defense: Classical Variation

The Classical Variation of the Caro-Kann Defense (1.e4 c6 2.d4 d5 3.Nd2 dxe4 4.Nxe4 Bf5, or with 3.Nc3) is the most common way of handling the Caro-Kann. Play Black's moves of the line from memory — 1. e4 c6 2. d4 d5 3. Nd2 dxe4 4. Nxe4 Bf5 — and the trainer plays White's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.

"Drill all" adds the 8 named lines that continue it, such as Caro-Kann Defense: Classical Variation, Main Line, Caro-Kann Defense: Classical Variation, Spassky Variation, Caro-Kann Defense: Classical Variation, Maróczy Attack, Caro-Kann Defense: Classical Variation, Lobron System, Caro-Kann Defense: Classical Variation, Flohr Variation, Caro-Kann Defense: Classical Variation, Seirawan Variation, Caro-Kann Defense: Martian Gambit.
