Practise the English Opening: Agincourt Defense

The Agincourt Defense (1.c4 e6) answers the English Opening by preparing a supported ...d5, much as in the French Defense. Play Black's moves of the line from memory — 1. c4 e6 — and the trainer plays White's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.

"Drill all" adds the 37 named lines that continue it, such as English Opening: Mikenas-Carls Variation, English Opening: Neo-Catalan, English Opening: Agincourt Defense, Neo-Catalan Declined, English Opening: Agincourt Defense, Catalan Defense, Semi-Slav Defense, English Opening: Neo-Catalan Declined, English Opening: Symmetrical Variation, Anti-Benoni Variation, Spielmann Defense, English Opening: Mikenas-Carls, Sicilian, English Opening: Anglo-Indian Defense, Queen's Indian Formation.

Read about the line, its statistics on Lichess and Stockfish's evaluation on the English Opening: Agincourt Defense page, or pick another opening in the opening trainer.
