Practise the King's Gambit

The King's Gambit (1.e4 e5 2.f4) is the most famous gambit in chess. Play White's moves of the line from memory — 1. e4 e5 2. f4 — and the trainer plays Black's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.

"Drill all" adds the 189 named lines that continue it, such as King's Gambit Accepted, King's Gambit Accepted: King's Knight's Gambit, King's Gambit Declined: Queen's Knight Defense, King's Gambit Declined: Falkbeer Countergambit, King's Gambit Accepted: MacLeod Defense, King's Gambit Declined: Falkbeer Countergambit Accepted, King's Gambit Accepted: Fischer Defense, King's Gambit Accepted: Modern Defense.

Read about the line, its statistics on Lichess and Stockfish's evaluation on the King's Gambit page, or pick another opening in the opening trainer.
