Practise the Pirc Defense: Austrian Attack

The Austrian Attack, 1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 3.Nc3 g6 4.f4, is one of the most ambitious systems against the Pirc Defense. Play White's moves of the line from memory — 1. e4 d6 2. d4 Nf6 3. Nc3 g6 4. f4 — and the trainer plays Black's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.

"Drill all" adds the 7 named lines that continue it, such as Pirc Defense: Austrian Attack, Weiss Variation, Pirc Defense: Austrian Attack, Unzicker Attack, Pirc Defense: Austrian Attack, Dragon Formation, Pirc Defense: Austrian Attack, Kurajica Variation, Pirc Defense: Austrian Attack, Ljubojevic Variation, Pirc Defense: Austrian Attack, Unzicker Attack, Bronstein Variation.

Read about the line, its statistics on Lichess and Stockfish's evaluation on the Pirc Defense: Austrian Attack page, or pick another opening in the opening trainer.
