Practise the Sicilian Defense: Moscow Variation

The Moscow Variation (1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 d6 3.Bb5+), also called the Canal–Sokolsky Attack, is White's most important alternative to 3.d4 against 2...d6 in the Sicilian Defense. Play White's moves of the line from memory — 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. Bb5+ — and the trainer plays Black's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.

"Drill all" adds the 5 named lines that continue it, such as Sicilian Defense: Moscow Variation, Main Line, Sicilian Defense: Moscow Variation, Sokolsky Variation, Sicilian Defense: Moscow Variation, Haag Gambit, Sicilian Defense: Moscow Variation, Moscow Gambit, Sicilian Defense: Moscow Variation, Dorfman Gambit.

Read about the line, its statistics on Lichess and Stockfish's evaluation on the Sicilian Defense: Moscow Variation page, or pick another opening in the opening trainer.
