Practise the King's Indian Defense

The King's Indian Defense (1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 Bg7) is the most combative reply to 1.d4. Play White's moves of the line from memory — 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 g6 3. Nc3 — and the trainer plays Black's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.

"Drill all" adds the 149 named lines that continue it, such as King's Indian Defense: Normal Variation, King's Indian Defense: Normal Variation, Rare Defenses, Grünfeld Defense, King's Indian Defense: Orthodox Variation, Grünfeld Defense: Three Knights Variation, Grünfeld Defense: Exchange Variation, King's Indian Defense: Sämisch Variation, King's Indian Defense: Sämisch Variation, Normal Defense.

Read about the line, its statistics on Lichess and Stockfish's evaluation on the King's Indian Defense page, or pick another opening in the opening trainer.
