Practise the Ponziani Opening
The Ponziani Opening (1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.c3) is an old open game in which White prepares d4 with a pawn, as in the Giuoco Piano, but before developing the king's bishop. Play White's moves of the line from memory —
1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. c3 — and the trainer plays
Black's replies; "Play the other side" turns it around.
"Drill all" adds the 15 named lines that continue it, such as Ponziani Opening: Jaenisch Counterattack, Ponziani Opening: Neumann Gambit, Ponziani Opening: Ponziani Countergambit, Ponziani Opening: Romanishin Variation, Ponziani Opening: Spanish Variation, Ponziani Opening: Vukovic Gambit, Ponziani Opening: Steinitz Variation, Ponziani Opening: Caro Gambit.
